Guarantee:

All products listed in this catalog are of first quality. Should you find any of our products to be defective they may be returned for full credit or replacement. Please note that all returned merchandise is subject to inspection. If we should find that an item has been abused, used for something other than its intended purpose, or used beyond the reasonable life of the product, we will be unable to issue credit or to provide a replacement. To return defective merchandise, please call our toll free number for a return authorization or speak to your sales person or manufacturer’s representative.

Returned merchandise must be in re-saleable condition in order for us to issue full credit. Bowman Handles, Inc. is not responsible for freight on returned merchandise. Collect shipments for return merchandise will be refused unless there is prior authorization. All returns have to be made within 30 days of purchase.

Important Shipping Information

While we make every effort to ship orders in the most secure package, accidents happen. 

If a package is delivered damaged or with shortages there are certain steps your receiving department will need to take to be sure that we are able to credit your account for the damage/shortage. 


1. The damage/shortage must be noted on the BOL or with the small package driver at the time of delivery.

2. If at all possible, a photo of the damaged shipment (or the package that contains the shortage if it appears the box or stretch film has been broken)  needs to be taken and sent to our office via email or regular mail.

3. You need to report the damage/shortage to our toll free number immediately.

The longer it takes us to file the claim the less likely it is to be paid and the less likely we are able to provide you with a credit or replacement. 


Other Freight Notes:

With the changing transportation industry it is getting more difficult all the time to get an accurate quote. There are accessorial charges that are being added that haven’t been before. Because of these charges, it will be necessary for us to charge those to your invoice.  

Limited access – Especially rural areas.

• These are some of the more common ones we are seeing on freight bills.


Please be advised that we reserve the right to charge these back to your account. Also, please note that if these situations arise, we will make every effort to find ways to help you avoid these extra charges.  Re-weigh charges or class issues will not be added back to your invoice.
